Field Marketing Manager

Overview of the role

 

Amplience is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented marketer with a strong events background to join our marketing organization as the Field Marketing Manager, EMEA. You will be responsible for the planning, marketing, and successful execution of campaigns, events and other demand generation activities for EMEA.

 

Reporting to Global Marketing, you will function as the primary liaison between the field sales team and the marketing organization. You will determine the right marketing strategy (i.e. regional tradeshows, conferences, field events, webinars, direct mail, etc.) to generate awareness and demand – with the ultimate goal of moving accounts through the sales pipeline and accelerating the sales cycle.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Take ownership for delivering the marketing mix including industry events, public relations, email campaigns, webinars and other customer events / activities and lead generature and nuture
  • Primary liaison between Field Sales and Marketing
  • Communicate field sales requirements for success to Marketing and other relevant departments
  • Plan, create and execute all marketing activities and report results
  • Work closely with the Marketing, Sales, and Partner organisations to ensure lead and pipeline acceleration goals achieved
  • Develop appropriate field marketing strategies for pipeline development and deal acceleration for given regions and industry segment
  • Monitor event marketing metrics (opens, click-throughs, deliverability, registrations, etc.); analyze marketing campaigns, make recommendations for enhancing effectiveness, and report on all activity and results
  •  Enable timely marketing / lead generation campaigns, including email, social media, web marketing, etc.
  • Key participant in email marketing creative reviews and testing schedules
  •  Support team with larger conference planning and logistics as needed
  • Vendor management and contract negotiation
  • Effective project management, delivering projects within agreed timeline and budget

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:

  •  3-5 years of relevant event marketing experience (SaaS experience a plus)
  • Strong experience in marketing, event coordination, tradeshow management, and contract negotiation
  • Extremely organised, self-starting, detail-oriented, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Creative thinker, not afraid to try new things, but also able to successfully manage routine tasks
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively under pressure while remaining positive, flexible, and open to feedback
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including editing and proofreading)
  • Knowledge of best practices for creating emails and testing methodologies
  • Experience with relevant software applications including Salesforce.com and Marketo
