Senior Solution Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Solution Consultant to join our Customer Success and Solutions team in New York to deliver successful projects for our customers.  The individual will be responsible for delivering successful projects for their customers; identifying opportunities for additional sales as well as ensuring customers are satisfied and are fully exploiting the potential of the Amplience platform to deliver maximum business benefit.

The Solution Consultant will have started to develop a specialisation within the e-commerce/content domain.  We are looking for someone who is capable of working independently, as well as in teams as they will often be responsible for the completion of a project or activities for which he/she leads a small team. 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the end to end delivery of customer projects
  •  Lead and guide the customer’s delivery team / system integrator to deliver a best practice implementation by defining a robust project approach with appropriate governance.
  • Ensure projects are formally kicked-off, have key re-occurring cadence meetings running throughout the project and are formally closed when acceptance criteria are met.
  • Ensure requirements specifications are specific and with a minimal amount of ambiguity.
  • Understand the core operating model of the e-commerce department and the supporting technology
  • Understand the clients business drivers and business priorities looking 12 months ahead
  • Become a trusted advisor to key decisions makers and stakeholders, spot new opportunities to drive additional revenue working with the Account Manager to close.
  • Provide metrics on customer interactions and generates insight from these interactions
  • Ensure the customer is receiving the appropriate level of service as contractually agreed and defined by internal service level framework.
  • Measure customer satisfaction and work to improve overall customer satisfaction year on year.
  • Help define service level framework across the portfolio of customers.
  • Create engaging collateral tailored for customers.
  • Provide guidance on how to best use the Amplience platform.


We are looking for:

  • Experience of delivering multiple successful eCommerce projects to deadlines.
  • Good knowledge on e-commerce operations and technologies employed by all tiers of retailer.
  • Proven ability to build and foster relationships internally and externally.
  • Ability to engage with customers and evangelise coupled with good presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with a demanding customer base.
  • A good level of emotional intelligence and business acumen.
  • Good leadership skills which inspire confidence.
