The Opportunity 

Amplience is seeking an entrepreneurial manager to join our Business Development Team based in the Nordics & DACH region.  This team is primarily tasked with building & managing the Amplience Partner Program (focused on eCommerce system integrators), as well as driving strategic alliances with our technology partners (SAP & Salesforce).  The right candidate has a strong background in enterprise sales, business development and co-selling partnerships.  

This role will report into our Director, Business Development EMEA and is an ideal opportunity for an experienced professional to put their fingerprints on a strategic growth region for Amplience in Europe.

Role Profile

* You will recruit, enable and manage our SI’s based in the Nordics & DACH.  These are typically mid-sized commerce platform SI’s with 50 to 1,000 employee’s that focus on SAP Hybris, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, etc.  
* You believe that successful, repeatable partnerships require structure and mutual business planning done at the executive level.  You will work with the management teams at our partners to establish annual business plans and then drive our joint strategy towards success throughout the year.
* Partner sales enablement and training is a key responsibility.  You will meet regularly with our partners to continuously help educate them on the business problem our customers face, our key value propositions, how to qualify opportunities in/out and how to engage with the Amplience Sales Team.
* You will be measured on two primary KPI’s.  Partner Influenced Revenue, the subscription revenue we capture via co-selling with partners from your region, and Partner Accepted Leads, the new pipeline created from partners from your region.
* You will collaborate with Amplience Professional Services, who own partner technical training and enablement, to ensure smooth facilitation of technical training for our partners.
* You like to embrace your inner coach and mentor, looking for ways to engage, excite and motivate our partners sales people to advocate for Amplience.
* You are a world class matchmaker and understand that pairing partner AE’s, with Amplience AE’s in our co-sell partner model is a never-ending, high touch responsibility.  
* In addition to owning our Nordics & DACH based SI’s, you will play a supporting role with our global partners that are active in your region.  
* You will support our strategic alliances with SAP and Salesforce in the Nordics & DACH region.  
* You will be called upon to play various roles supporting webinars, partner sales training, our annual partner summit, industry events & trade shows, etc.


Skills / Experience / Qualification

* A minimum of 5 years in enterprise sales and/or Manager level roles in relevant related organizations.
* Experience working for product companies in the enterprise commerce platform and/or enterprise content management sector.
* Experience working for/with European based commerce platform SI’s.
* Highly networked within the Commerce and/or Content Management ecosystems in Europe.
* Highly networked within the enterprise retail community in Europe.
* Experience in managing formal partner programs for small to medium sized software product companies.
* Experience in the co-selling style of partnerships between product companies & services organizations.  
* Experience in building and/or delivering sales training for complex enterprise solutions.
* Strong business user skills with Salesforce and familiarity of PRM tools like Impartner.
